Installing the App on a Mobile Device

You can install the Bookmark Manager mobile app on your Android or iOS device. It allows you to access your bookmarks on the go and provides some useful features like sharing new links from and to other apps like WhatsApp.

Android

For Android devices, you can install the Bookmark Manager app from the Google Play Store.

The iOS app is currently in development, but you can install the app on iOS as a PWA today.

Install the Bookmark Manager as a PWA (Progressive Web App)

You can also install the Bookmark Manager as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your mobile device.

For Android devices we recommend installing the app from Google Play for the best experience.

PWA Installation on Chrome and Chromium-based Browsers

  1. Open the current page (or any other page on BookmarkManager.com) in your Chrome mobile browser.
  2. Click on the menu button (three dots) in the top right corner of the browser.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen from the menu.
  4. Click Install to confirm the installation.

PWA Installation on Safari (iOS)

  1. Open the current page (or any other page on BookmarkManager.com) in your Safari mobile browser.
  2. Tap the share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen from the menu.
  4. Tap Add to confirm the installation.

Installing the App on Your Desktop

You can install the Bookmark Manager web app on your desktop computer.

  1. Open the current page (or any other page on BookmarkManager.com) in your browser.
  2. Some browsers (e.g. Chrome and Edge) show a download icon in the address bar. Screenshot of a search from the browser's address bar If not, you can usually install it from the browser's menu by clicking Install BookmarkManager.com.
    Note: The exact wording and location of the install button may vary depending on the browser and its version.
    In Chrome you can find it under "Menu > Save and share".
    In Edge you can find it under "Menu > Apps".
  3. After you installed the app, you can find it in your start menu or on your desktop. You can also pin it to your taskbar or start menu for easy access.
